LALE DEVRI

“Lale Devri” is a vase that focuses and accentuates the romantic flow of tulips; distributing their weight and creating a chic and compelling centerpiece that brings elegance to whichever room it is in, as it transports and elevate etiquette and structure through an artistic lens.

Lale devri (eng. The Tulip Era), was a period of cultural flourishing, and artistic innovation in the Ottoman Empire, marked by the symbolic prominence of the tulip. As the Tulip Era was a time of increasing interaction with European influences, I wanted to link the cultural merge with my own cultural identity.

Thus drawing inspiration from my own family, home decor, and memories around the table, this new iteration of a tulip vase dubbed “Lale Devri” flourished to life.
